Kickoff Meeting. We will kickoff the new marching season on Tuesday, May 21st at 7 pm in the band room with a kick-off meeting. This meeting is for new and returning marchers and parents. At one point, we'll split the marchers from their parents so the new marchers can talk with the returning marchers and the new and returning parents can also talk about expectations and experiences.
Pizza Nite. The next night, Wednesday, May 22nd, 4:30-8:30 p.m., Windy City Pizza will contribute a percentage of orders made that mention Oscar Smith to the band booster club. No need for a flyer, just mention Oscar Smith. Windy City Pizza is at 480 Kempsville Rd. (one block west of Greenbrier Parkway). Please share this opportunity with all your friends, family and social networks!
Spring Concert. The Oscar Smith High School Symphonic Band and Concert Band will perform a spring concert at OSHS on May 28th, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Performers must be in the band room at 6:15 p.m.
Awards ceremony. The band program will celebrate a fantastic year with an awards program on June 4th, at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. Come out and join us for this important event.
Graduation. The Oscar Smith High School Symphonic Band will perform at the OSHS graduation on June 13th.
