Band Boosters Burst Update for November 6

1. JV Game Thursday. The last home JV game is Thursday (11/7), and we need volunteers! Contact Jocelyn Ray at VolunteerCoordinator@osbb.club, or sign up at http://bit.ly/OSBBC_2019JV. We particularly need grillers. PLEASE HELP!

2. Away Varsity Game on Friday. The last regular season Varsity game is Friday at Great Bridge. Same drill as last week: there will be a pep rally in the morning (inside), so marchers will go to the band room, wearing pink-out shirts, and sweat pants. Thanks to Lisa and Toby Kondzella (THANK YOU), there will be Pizza Friday.

Weather: Marchers need to dress in layers. It’s going to be cold: right now, the forecast calls for the temperature at kickoff to be 41 degrees (adjusting for wind chill – 37 degrees). The temps then drop from there. Once again, section leaders: check with your section to make sure they have a plan to dress warmly. This is a team effort.

Parents: Last week’s game at Grassfield ended such that all the marchers needed to be picked up by 9:30 pm. This week’s game will likely end at about the same time. I’ll send out Remind texts, but please be prompt in picking your marchers. If you know right now that you will have a problem picking up your marcher at that time, please make alternate arrangements now.
